Executive Vice President - Head of Marketing

POSITION OVERVIEW

The EVP, Marketing is responsible for leading FiComm’s marketing business. This is a senior-level executive role that will lead the strategic oversight and day-to-day supervision for a cross-section of FiComm’s retained and project-based marketing clients, supported by specialists across both the Marketing and PR teams. The EVP establishes and supervises collaborative relationships with clients, and oversees the strategic counsel, planning, and execution of projects, marketing plans, and deliverables, working closely with the broader FiComm team. 

 

A member of the executive leadership team, the EVP, Marketing will lead the growth of the marketing business, the management of the marketing team, and will drive new ideas for evolving the business to stay ahead of market needs. This role will have business development responsibilities, including being an active member of the community to grow our network, identifying and nurturing prospective clients, and actively participating in the business development process. 

 

In this role, the EVP, Marketing grows and manages the FiComm Marketing team and oversees the team’s execution against the Marketing offering, project management, and logistical objectives. This includes designing and overseeing the implementation of strategic marketing plans, assigning tasks and deliverables to FiComm team members, contributing information and recommendations to project plans and reviews, implementing production, gauging productivity, resolving problems, identifying trends, determining system improvements, providing senior-level client counsel, and implementing change. 

Remote – Senior Marketing Strategist or Assistant Vice President, Marketing

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly organized, adaptable, proactive marketing leader to support FiComm’s Marketing book of business — which includes both retained and project-based client work. The Senior Marketing Strategist or Assistant Vice President will also partner closely with the FiComm Public Relations team on integrated accounts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and also skilled at content creation and managing execution of content marketing campaigns.

 

Responsibilities and expectations include:

  • Work with EVP, Marketing, to develop and deliver effective digital marketing strategies and editorial plans to meet client objectives
  • Collaborate with supporting resources including designers, writers, and other partners to create content optimized for digital distribution channels including web, social and email
  • Follow marketing and financial services industry trends and best practices affecting the agency and clients
  • Must have hands-on experience with tactical execution of integrated digital marketing programs–Including, but not limited to, social media (paid and unpaid) campaigns, email marketing campaigns, and lead gen campaigns
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing and can communicate within a cross-functional team
  • Must be a highly organized, self-starter, and have an aptitude for tracking multiple deliverables against tight deadlines
  • Thinks strategically to support the team with marketing initiative ideation pertaining to specific clients and projects
  • Reviews drafts of quarterly analytics reports and shares with manager for review
  • Contributes to marketing and strategic communications plans through thoughtful, informed, suggestions and input
  • Assists in creating new business proposals, as needed
  • Assists in meetings to help with scheduling, material preparation, and follow up for team
  • Excellent writing skills across multiple types of collateral, with an understanding of the need for nuanced messaging for a wide range of audiences, including not limited to advisor, investor, enterprise clients
  • Demonstrates excellent editing and proofreading skills able to work with high levels of attention to detail and experience in reviewing content from freelance copywriters to ensure it aligns with client goals and expectations
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and works closely with team members to ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Can facilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly check-in calls with clients where needed
  • Financial services industry experience strongly preferred, as well as a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly organized, adaptable, proactive marketing team member to support FiComm’s Marketing book of business — which includes both retained and project-based client work. The Senior Marketing Specialist will also partner closely with the FiComm Public Relations team on integrated accounts.   • Strong understanding of the digital marketing channels including website, social media, email, search engine optimization, native advertising, search engine marketing, and local listings.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable leading conversations and presenting ideas to a small audience
  • Collaborate with supporting resources including designers, writers, and other partners to create content optimized for digital distribution channels including web, social and email
  • Follow marketing and financial services industry trends and best practices affecting the agency and clients

The FiComm Partners Fellowship Program is a 24-week program designed to provide training, resources and client-engagement experience to new graduates, as well as valuable support to our growing team. Additionally, it will expose the Fellow to all facets of FiComm’s business, including PR and  Marketing. This program will also arm the FiComm Fellows with knowledge of best practices in the PR/Marketing industry. By the end of the 24 weeks, FiComm Fellows will be able to do the following successfully and independently:

  • Basics of account management and profitability
  • Understand how to work in a professional setting, following policy and procedure
  • Draft and finalize press releases
  • Build and maintain media lists
  • Craft a media pitch and successfully pitch reporters
  • Draft client-facing materials, including agendas, emails, news analysis and contributed content
  • Engage in internal and client-facing meetings, conference calls and brainstorms
  • Research topics of interest and industry trends
  • Brainstorm creative ideas for proactive campaigns
  • Demonstrate ability to monitor for time-sensitive media articles
  • Create quarterly reports
Remote – Fellow (post-graduate), Marketing

The FiComm Partners Fellowship Program is a 24-week program designed to provide training, resources and client-engagement experience to new graduates, as well as valuable support to our growing team. Additionally, it will expose the Fellow to all facets of FiComm’s business, including Marketing and PR. This program will also arm the FiComm Fellows with knowledge of best practices in the Marketing industry and valuable experience developing, presenting and implementing marketing plans. By the end of the 24 weeks, FiComm Fellows will be able to do the following successfully and independently:

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a FiComm Partners Marketing intern, you will support a number of projects, including (but not limited to) branding and identity, campaign strategy and execution, multi-channel marketing promotions, and research, design, and development related to content. Interns will gain hands-on experience while working in the field alongside experienced and recognized members of the finance community, being exposed to what it takes to prepare, enter and disrupt the market. For the right candidate, this can transition to a full-time position.

Remote – Intern, PR

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a FiComm Partners PR intern, you will support a number of projects, including (but not limited to) monitoring for media coverage, drafting agendas, competitor and media research, drafting press releases and media pitches, building media lists, pitching the media and supporting the PR team with client meetings, and more. Interns gain hands-on experience while working in the field alongside experienced and recognized members of the finance community, being exposed to what it takes to prepare, enter and disrupt the market. For the right candidate, this can transition into a full-time role.
