Srishti Assaye is an Account Executive, Public Relations at FiComm Partners, based in New York. She helps the team with extensive media relations support including media monitoring, pitching, reporting and analysis. She also works across all FiComm accounts to assist teams with social media strategies, messaging, survey development and analytics. Through her capacity, she aims to enhance traditional and digital presence for businesses and build long-lasting relationships with media and other influencers.
Srishti started her professional journey inspired by her panache for mathematics by earning a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She further adorned this capacity with a passion and flair for writing and creative thinking. Over the years, she has developed an effective track record in both social media and public relations. She had the opportunity to work with the United Nations Development Group (UNDG), where she worked with various international bodies, assisting country teams to improvise and effectively implement content strategies. She managed UNDG social media accounts and increased their Twitter followers by 23 percent and increased the average impressions per tweet by 35 percent. She also drafted the social media plan for a General Assembly event which was then executed by social media specialists from UNICEF, the World Health Organization and UNDP – earning UNDG over 200 followers within two hours. This position was further complemented by another intense experience at APCO Worldwide — a global communication consultancy – where she assisted teams with everything from media relations and crisis communications to digital strategies.
Srishti graduated from New York University with a master’s in Public Relations and Corporate Communications, where she also earned her Gold Badge in digital analytics. With her Indian and Ethiopian background, combined with her experiences in the rich cultures of Zimbabwe, Zambia and other African countries, she brings a unique perspective to her work at FiComm.
